Great post! From what we've heard the changes will be minor compared to what is on the books now. We are currently engaged with legislators who are also looking to make changes to Illinois statutes (as well as Part 1200 you mentioned) to better define and support the cannabis and hemp industries. The delta 9 is the only thing the state is looking at. You could have 1% total thc as long as delta9 is less than 0.3%. Buyers will know what to do with it. If you are higher than 0.3% total thc you should try to keep the transaction within the state and remediate the thc out of it through processing before going to sell across state lines.

They are the same as last year. Delta9 only. Unless the state selects you for sampling for compliance testing, there is no requirement to get/show a compliant COA to the IDOA. Only 10-20% of licensees were selected in 2019. However, when you are performing a transaction involving industrial hemp with a buyer, you will need a compliant COA from a representative sample accompanying all industrial hemp involved in the transaction to show the buyer at the very least. The buyer may then retest the material to verify what your COA says is accurate. Additionally, law enforcement may want to see a compliant COA and a valid grower or processor license if they get involved for whatever reason during transport.

You don't have to submit any tests to the state of IL if they don't come sample your crop there is no oversight

Hi Kyle, how much flower do you have at what % CBD? do you have a COA to accompany the product? Does your COA also show no heavy metals or pesticides? These are the things a buyer will want to see before purchase. You can post what you have for sale right here on the forum. We don't recommend any other exchanges but they are out there. Depending on what your COA says you may have some trouble moving your flower across state lines.
