I learned a lot about decorticators and processing fiber this past year. There is a company in Montana/Wyoming, don't remember name at the moment, where they are making mobile decorticators, that will not damage the stalks. Shoot me an email we can talk. Patrice

Hi Zack we here at Sun Water and Soil are doing just that! We planted 7 oz last year of Fiberous varity from China and reaped 7 lbs, which we will plant this year. Fiber Plants were short I contribute that to the soil not being worked for over 20 years. This year we are amending and creating our own soil using worm casting that will provide insect and fertilization management. Hi Rachel, If anyone wants to intern with Sun Water and Soil, we are happy to host. We will be planting 7 lbs of fiber seed this year, probably only a few days work. We are also starting a farm to table restaurant, landscaping, planting all kinds of medicinals, flowers and edibles, using live soil, creating our own soil with worm castings that require no fertilizer, insect repellant or other additives. All this is to build a learning center to show how to grow hemp, how to live in collaboration with the earths gifts. Hugs! Patrice
